Friday, March 28 - Community Euchre Night

The Mission and Outreach committee is planning another fun Euchre evening Friday, March 28 @ 6:30 p.m. If you are planning to attend please let sawuchurch@gmail.com know.

We will have a free-will offering at the door to help raise money for our new basement carpet.

Every Sunday up to and including Sunday, April 13 - Spring Food Drive

Mission and Outreach will be collecting food for the London Food Bank until Palm Sunday. Some of the most needed non-perishable food categories are: 

Canned vegetables and fruit (no sugar added)

Canned tomatoes (no salt added

Canned tuna and salmon

Peanut butter

Special-diet foods (gluten free, lactose-free, etc.)

Dried vegetables (lentils, chickpeas, legumes, etc.)

Healthy breakfast cereals

Easter Flowers

Anyone interested in ordering Easter flowers in memory of a loved one is asked to email sawuchurch@gmail.com by Monday April 7th.

Two options are available this year from Tillsonburg Garden Gate Center:

- a 12 inch Pansy Bowl for $20.00

- a 7 inch Mixed Bulb Garden $13.00

Please be sure to include your choice of flowers and the name of the person(s) the flowers are in memory of in your email.

Flowers will be displayed throughout the sanctuary and can be picked up following the service on Easter Sunday.

Saturday/Sunday, May 3/4 - Spring Concert

Our SAWUC choir and friends are excited to put on a performance you won't want to miss! Put some time aside May 3rd or 4th to come and enjoy a concert with songs all about happiness and joy! Both shows will be at 2:30 P.M. Ticket details to follow.

Tuesday, May 6 - Sign Painting Night

Mission and Outreach are organizing a Sign Painting night. The cost is $50/person to a maximum of 20 people. If you are interested please email sawuchurch@gmail.com by April 22nd. If you would like to attend, but may struggle to meet this price point, please speak to Rev. Sue. The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. Sign choices and stain options were attached in the email from the church.
