A Message from Rev. Sue

A MESSAGE FROM REV. SUE

I know that going to church almost seems like an old fashioned concept these days. Many people would rather sleep in on a Sunday morning or go to a sporting event. In my conversation with people over the years I have realized that so many individuals view church at best, as boring and at worst, as judgmental and hurtful.

But St Andrews is neither!

This spiritual community is fun and lively and the people who attend are deeply committed to making their neighbourhood and the world a better place. Research tells us that people who are a part of healthy spiritual communities like ours experience fewer mental and physical health problems, give more generously to their community, experience life as more meaningful and feel happier with life in general.

I encourage you to come and visit our church and participate in this great community which seeks to love and serve God. You will be delightfully surprised by the welcome you receive behind those 128 year old oak doors!
